Help, what is this?

Hi guys, I’m still on my road to diagnoses but I get the lumps on usually just my back and I’m wondering if anyone else has anything like this? They aren’t super painful, more of an annoying sensation and slightly itchy. I never know when they will show up but they are almost always around my spine. Has anyone else had anything like this happen, it started about a year ago and the store told me it’s eczema from a allergic reaction to something but I completely disagree!

You can’t tell in the photo, but it is actually a lump and it’s hard to the touch.

Do you know if you are allergic to metals? This may be a reaction to the metal in your bra clasp. Just a thought......

I haven’t ever had reactions to metals before but This is also on my lower back, it’s usually always about two inches above my tail bone but also shows up higher.

Mmm, do you wear anything metallic near your tail bone? Perhaps you could try 1% hydrocortisone cream (available otc from your pharmacist). If it works, it probably is an allergic reaction. I'm no expert, but it does look like an allergy to me. Good luck!

I have Lupus profundus and it appears like a cyst under my skin. It becomes hard and wooden and can change Shape spreading under my skin. Although I have no rash On the hardened skin.

I do get butterflies rashes on my knees and Elbows when I have a flare up but it looks like ring worm, gets very hot and itchy. My lumps are on my face too & when I get treatment the lumps soften and dissolve leaving my face dented and scarred looking

Maybe since the weather is warming, it’s a reaction to sweat and heat. Called prickly heat rash and when it causes bumps/hives it’s called sudamina urticaria. Probably would concentrate on small of back where sweat accumulates. Just a thought....

Unfortunately I get it all year round so I’m not sure it’s caused by heat
