Today’s little “pick me up”

We are starting to get ready to leave the French Alps. The French vet opened up specially to do the required pet passport checks that we need before travelling, we will spend today shutting down the chalet as we have no idea when we get back.

I am feeling incredibly anxious, a feeling that is a precursor to me feeling unwell. I am convinced that this type of emotional stress is a huge trigger for my lupus and IC flares. I am trying to avoid the media storm around coronavirus but it is impossible.

Anyway, to finish on a positive, these two pooches are a great stress reliever for me...

This is their “chew” stare, at around 6pm they are allowed a chew. I am sure that they can tell the time as they start giving me the look around 5.50pm 😂😂

Enjoy your day and post some pictures 😊😊

I hope all goes well.

What cute little doggies! I can feel eyes boring into me at dinner o’clock every day! x

Yes it’s funny how our fury friends can tell us exactly what the time is! Xx

Except when the clock goes back or forward 😉 I have to reset Blue gradually.

They actually cope with that very well, I think that it is because we cross from the UK to France a lot!

I once had a dog that would catch the ferry to Skye, have a good sniff around, and be on time for the ferry back.

When my cousin and I took the trip, we were terrified to admit we knew him and might have to pay his fares!

How funny! They are smarter than we give them credit for! I had a lurcher who was my best friend (of course!) when I was a kid. We did everything together. She used to regularly find me on the playground at school during afternoon break to come and play! I got to bunk off the last lesson of the day to take her home - clever doggy - getting me all to herself! 😄

You can’t ignore those “feed me now” looks! A welcome distraction from everything else going on in the world. I’ve just been out in the sunshine and chucked a ball around for my pooch - feel much better for it 🐶🌞xx
