Liver Biopsy

I had a scan showing liver damage, and with blood results it was decided a liver biopsy was needed to find the cause of the damage.

It could be fatty tissue, or related to my autoimmune and or medications.

I thought I would share this so if anyone is going to have this procedure it will put their mind at rest.

I was a little worried but it really was not bad. After the biopsy I had to spend 2 hours on my right side, then 6 hours laying down, after 6 hours you are then free to get up and go home. You are not to drive and must rest for 24/48 hours. Then back to normal.

So, if anyone is due this biopsy, please do not worry.

Best wishes Sandy.
