So yesterday I went to pick up my routine prescription...omperazole. The assistant brought out 2 carrier bags full of boxes that contained caferters (not sure abt spelling π) I said it's omperazole I ordered not caferters she brought out the pharmacist who again asked the same questions but this time said it was ordered via surgery in Dec. I haven't been to docs in since my flu jab in Oct so how the hell they can order prescription. At this point I was fuming demanded my tablets and left the queue was pretty long π at this point. Funny how they can order stuff you haven't seen or used ever but when comes to making appts it's like getting blood out of stone. Anyway hope this has cheered you up π have a good day all and take care π.
Aww bless I rang the docs the lady apologised saying will tell the senior. Incompetent staff is what it is. Prior I went to hand a form in 3 members of staff behind the screen who I can see very clearly not to say they couldn't see me continued with there pathetic conversation about makeup for wht seemed like forever until one come over to take the form from me. At this point I was fuming π€―πΉπΏ then the message on the screen caught my eye...harassing staff!!!which is what it would have come down to had I said anything. I hope your prob gets sorted soon. π
Should it happen next time I will play along and waste as much time of there's as possible before leaving!!!! ππ
I wish there could be a real investigation. If the surgery's staff are incompetent they should be in a less demanding role. If it is the pharmacy at fault there should be some real digging as pharmacies are private businesses and who knows just what may be going on.
The problem is I don't know who is at fault and I don't appear to be the only person who experiences such difficulties between my practice and my pharmacy.
Both appear overwhelmed but the issues are never solved no matter how many complaints.
I had a situation where I saw the rheumatologist on Monday, told him no problems with Plaquenil generic and that all was going well. Two days later, the same doctor left a message on my phone telling me that because of rash and stomach problems I should cut dosage back to 200 Mg once a day instead of two. So, I did not know who messed up, office staff or doc. I wrote a letter to doc and went in to see the office manager and had her read the letter. I explained that I did not know who was responsible for the mistake, but somewhere out there was a patient waiting for a reply.
She checked my chart, talked to office staff and then said she would talk to the doc. Later that evening, he called and apologized. He said my chart was open when he got the message and sent me the response in error. Not sitting well as far as confidence in him is concerned.
