Hi Buckley 😊🌿🌸🦋

Yes I see a swelling in the middle joint of right finger.

I have had systemic joint pain since age 5. Was really bad when I was in the farmers strawberry field picking berries by 5 - 6 a.m. The fields had just been watered and the humidity really caused stiffness and pain all over. Oddly enough no visible changes back then but 6 decades later deformities of hands fingers and toes very visible and pain progression too.

Sorry you’re suffering dear. I hope you find some relief soon.

Take care and abundant blessings.

Love and prayers

EJ 😊🌿🌸🦋🙏🤗💗😘😇🕊

Hi Jade. I’m on way to long awaited CTD clinic review - last seen end of April by vascular dr - this time hopefully by my rheum first time in 15 months. I can’t wear nail extensions like you do or grow my nails at all. Will you take these off for Dr Cruz as our nails can give a good clue as to what’s going on in our bodies? Not that mine have ever been of interest by this time they are pitted so I want my rheum to consider psoriasis or PsA of my hands.

Your right finger joint looks a bit swollen to me but the other one is more pink. X

Hi Buckley

I'm UCTD diagnosed like you and have awful joint pain similarly!. You can see one finger is slightly more swollen than the other !. Do you get pain in your knuckle joints?. My joints are the same ie it doesn't show up really but that's the difference between these illnesses and RA!. Trouble is we can be made to feel we're making a fuss at our Rhrumy appts as symptoms belie the evidence!. I know I am!.

Very best of luck for your second opinion with dr d cruz!. I've been hearing good things about him so I'm sure it will go well. Look forward to your update. Xx

I can see a swelling there. I go by the “this doesn’t look like my finger” self diagnosis!

Deffo left looks more swollen but right looks red and inflamed. If that helps?!

Hope your new appointment goes well. Keep us posted x
