Swollen joints?

Some days i get swollen fingers and knuckles like yesterday and today my kiddle finger has been swollen and it hurts when i bend it like a burning sharp pain. Is it the lupas or artharitis or both. How do you get swelling down and why do we get swelling? Thanks if anyone can try and answer

Cherry, your rheumatologist will most likely want X-Rays. If I had to guess, I would say it’s both. My first rheumatologist did an ultrasound on both my hands and feet.

Try tart cherry juice and try pineapple. They are both good at helping fight inflammation. Sugar will attribute to inflammation.
