Eye clinic appointment update

Hi,

my appointment last week at the eye clinic went well but will be there again in 2 - 3 weeks to have dye injected in to my arm so they can have a more detailed look (not quite sure how dye in my arm will help with that but hey ho!) My right eye has a slight "bump" on the inner surface so i think they want to have a closer look at that but the consultant said that i am not at any risk of losing my sight for the foreseeable future, thank goodness.

I have started to do the couch to 5k training as i need to feel that i am helping my body. Picture me running round the garden for 30 minutes because i dont want to do it in public! i have discovered places that i didnt know i had as i ache but my joints seem to be ok. Obviously I wont be silly and ignore any symptoms but it has also helped me mentally to be proactive. The only exercise I usually get is walking from my desk to the printer and back again.

Every little bit helps! I started a few years ago by going on easy short walks on a treadmill and now have moved on to strength training with light weights. It has been a slow process but I feel more resilient now that I have most of my pre-lupus strength back and less fatigued.
