My niece has had long term lupus - now hair is very thin on top of her head and also scalp very red. I would like to buy her a good quality wig so she is less self conscious when she goes out. Not to wear all the time at home. She is mid aged 55
Any suggestions would be welcome

What a love Lyme thought. I have bought a wig recently Lyme,because of hair loss caused by lupus/azatropine.
The first w oh I bought was online.
Was a bit tight,kept slipping up.
We then going glued for wig supplies in our area.
Found a firm about 10 miles away.
The lady was very pleasant,had been supplying wigs etc for 20 years.
She tried several wigs on me, I preferred the first one she tried.
So now have 2 wigs. I have sorted the one bought online out,so can wear it.its synthetic hair,have had loads of compliments.
You need to take your niece with you when you go to buy the wig.
