Hi posted about my very painful ear, dizziness. Now I also have rock hard feet, pain, then they cold sweat so that I have to change my socks. Fingers are the same symptoms. Joints cracking, no appetite, cloudy vision, so fatigued, and tired, sleeping 12 hours. Under sides of both rib areas hurt ,sharp Then up, all I can do is visit the hub here. Have no Dr for a two month wait. Any suggestions? Lupus is a wicked beast. I welcome all your information and support. Thank you all for your kindness, and help. Starting to stress here anxiety, not good thestorm

I think I have had a mini flare this week after pushing myself too hard at the weekend. I could have got into the Olympic sleeping team if there was such a thing. I think that's the bodies way of trying to repair itself. Also reducing your appetite so all energy is directed towards repair.

Going off your food for a short time is not usually too harmful provided it's not accompanied by sickness or diarrhoea.

I know it's easy when so tired to just eat conveniently. But this is the time to NOT do that. Try to ensure that what you do eat packs a vitamin punch. Fruit such as satsumas are easy to eat, hydrate you and provide vitamin c to fight any bugs. Coconut water balances electrolytes and water melon is easy to digest and is very hydrating. When you start feeling hungry again that will be a sign that you are turning a corner.

If you have water retention it may be precisely because you are dehydrated. The body's reaction to dehydration is to hold onto water. But it can sometimes signal other nasties. So it is worth trying to see someone if it continues.

Thank you for the help, I greatly appreciate it. It seems that everyday this week I have one more odd thing or symptom pop up. I have been drinking a lot of water, more than normal, I have been checking my blood sugar, even though I am not diabetic, a good suggestion from another hub friend here. Numbers are within a normal range. Yes eating soft ,genital foods, with fruit. Going outside for a walk to get fresh air, and so on. You have good incite, and I will try all that you, the only one posted for me on this. I am glad you are there.Today my hands are trembling, and doing things with them doesn't help. Any clue what might cause this symptom. Again thank you so much for your help. I humbly thank you. peace, blessings thestorm

Is it your left ear that hurts? Any arm pain. Sweating, jaw pain or ear pain and chest pain (or rib pain )may warrant a trip to the A&E to rule out heart issues. It is probably a virus but incase and for piece of mind a trip to urgent care might be wise. Take care xo

yes thestorm, she is right. If chest pain persists it is necessary to rule things out rather than rule things in.

Don't let anxiety take over. But do the safe thing.

No ,my ear doesn't hurt, and I do have plaurecy, and COPD, so chest pain can come and go because of the weather, stress or being sick. I had an EKG, done, and a monitor from the cardio Dr, I called them and, and they assured me that it is not my heart. So she pointed out my lupus, and said I should follow up with a Gp Dr. Problem is no Dr til August. So I called my Hospital here, and of course they said come in for a look at. As of today, I am still with some symptoms, so tomorrow is our Sunday, which means the ER will have no specialist on hand. Trying to tough it out till Monday. I am again grateful you are there, and keep giving me possible clues. Your kindness is heart felt. peace blessings thestorm

Good luck until Monday. Health care world wide seems to be in shambles :( those with coverage have not enough specialists those with doctors availability have no coverage. :(
