I have lupus SLE been taking hydroxycloriquine and amitripline for a few years now get all the classic symptoms. Recently started taking ALOE VERA thinking it will help with weight issues. Brought a plant and guess what it's helping not only with weight loss with lupus symptoms aswell.
I say that any activity over my normal daily chores resulted in flare up. However this weekend I organised and held a BBQ In my house for 50ppl (anyone would think I was mad) I have a great family who helped. Most of all I thought I wasnt going to be able to get up next day...I DID!! Today is the second day I can feel the symptoms but not enough for me to warrant a full blown flare up and I'm happy knowing that this is only down to the ALOE VERA.
I was septical at first when I started taking it thinking it will infere with my meds etc but so far so good....fingers crossed!!!
I love love love Aloe Vera without it I would be much worse, my energy levels are much improved and my joints too. I have Forever Freedom which has glucosamine in it as well as the aloe, there are others in their range, all have pure inner leaf aloe . I actually joined Forever as business owner so I could buy mine at a discounted rate. I have a couple of friends with other health problems who both feel they have more energy. It's not a cure or treatment but certainly helps me significantly.
Even my doctor agrees, having been very sceptical, he said I don't know why but keep taking it.
Glad you feel like it's helping you. Not tried the grow your own version and I did manage to keep a plant alive for a little while which is a miracle in its self .
Hi imom cut it open and scoop out the pulp with teaspoon I mix it with 2cm water in blender and drink it first thing in morning then wait about 1/2 half before having breakfast. Try it 😊
