You might find this interesting:

While what you are drinking is not a high dose - some people are very sensitive. You are also on various medications I assume - and while I can't see anything you might be on on the interactions list the interactions are usually done on one to one reactions. When you mix several things there is no way of knowing what might happen.

I think green tea is often caffeinated so I avoid it in favour of Redbush or Camomile. The few times I’ve tried it I’ve found it too bitter for my liking. My husband took to drinking it for a while having read it was very good for prostate health? He’s back on builders’s tea now!

Very interesting link , i drink green tea regular and enjoy trying different flavours, I presume that these side effects are not that common , just possible side effects??

I also enjoy a chunk of ginger with a slice of lemon in hot water , its very soothing.

Headache, irritability & anxiety can be side effects of Green Tea...I'd stop drinking it if I were you.

I think it tastes disgusting....why ever do you want to drink it?

On reflection..... I had terrible anxiety attacks on Prednisolone..had to stop taking it after short while .

If you are taking that ...I wonder if that is the cause use of your anxiety not the tea?

Hi 12derby 😊🌸🌿🦋

I too have weird symptoms from green tea. I’ve tried it twice and both times it caused me agonizing bladder pain. I know I cannot tolerate it so I don’t drink it anymore. I’m sorry you are having problems too.

Try stopping the tea for a few days note your reaction then drink it again as before note reactions. You should know for sure if it’s the tea causing the symptoms.

Best wishes.

😊🌸🌿🦋🤗💗😘

I thought the link really interesting as well, I can't drink straight up green tea, it tastes gross 🤢 but i can if it's flavoured. I'm enjoying pukha lean matcha at the moment which contains ginger, fennel seed, cinnamon, turmeric and others to, because I've been reading of the benefits of matcha tea. I think it's got a nice chai flavour.

On reflection I used to drink a lot of green tea and it seemed to energise me, I expect it was the caffeine!

Where do get the matcha tea?

I just get this one from the supermarket, matcha can be quite expensive but the one I mentioned isn't.

Thks

I drink it but only in the morning. Some brands can be a bit strong. I've found one that's ok though for me.
