I live in the South and to say the least it’s hot. I dread the Summer, I try to stay in the air conditioning and only go out when I have no choice. I also carry a parasol and a hand fan every where I go. My friends snicker and ask me if I’m a Southern Bell, with may parasol and fan, I say no just a wilting Lilly.
The heat makes me weak and dizzy, almost sick but the Sun is even worse I can’t bear it, my eyes are so sensitive to it. I seek shade always and worry at the idea of ever being in a situation where I couldn’t get cool. I don’t visit family or friends because they don’t keep their home cool enough. I haven’t been diagnose with any condition, my doctor don’t have a clue, the has tested for what he thinks it might be but only thing we can pinpoint is I’m diabetic which makes it worse, I’ve alway been hot natured. I wish I could find a solution but until I do, I guess I’m a cool house cat at 68 degrees or less.
