I came off Methotrexate (under rheumatologist) a few months ago and thought I'd try waxing again.
Last night I did my lower legs and today, they are SO painful and achy. Has anyone else found the same? I guess my skin just has the Lupus sensitivity as I hadn't been sure if it was the Lupus or being on the Methotrexate which has prevented me from waxing since I was diagnosed.

Interesting, the last time I had my bikini line done (before I was diagnosed) I ended up looking like a plucked chicken for a couple of weeks! Since then, when shaving legs and armpits I need to make sure I am not too hot or too cold and use plenty of soap. Hadn't linked it to lupus but makes sense.
I got the worst rash all I ver my legs last time I waxed (a year ago), so have shaved since. I booked to have a wax yesterday but chickened out and shaved instead.
I can’t remember if there was pain (as this was pre-symptoms - i’m Currently undiagnosed, waiting for rheumy app) but the rash was all over and lasted over a week
