yes, several months now. Accompanied by limited shoulder movement occasional numb fingers. Ultrasound stated nerve impingement & calcification. Steroid shot initially worked but only for a few days. Now having acupuncture. Arm/Shoulder some improvement collarbone chest neck areas none. My G.P. said I need to get this under control or I'll be stuck with it forever! Next step physiotherapy. Best Wishes to you. Kaz x
My pain is in my upper right arm but it moves around a bit, I've felt it in my collar bone. Been told its "probably" tendonitis by the rheumatologist. GP sent me for an x ray as I wondered if it was more OA but it came back clear. A blood test showed a little inflammation, nothing that needed treating with meds
Its now been a year and I've been referred to physio at a health and sports centre, given a few simple exercises to do each day and referred again for 6 sessions of hydrotherapy at the hospital. I start those mid april
The muscle on top of my right shoulder is flat because I havent been using my arm properly for months...so I'm working on building that back up again. Meanwhile I'll be going to the health centre physio for quite some time, she said it would be a long job....3rd visit coming up on thursday
Yes & it turns out I have increased uptake there on a bone scan which no ones doing anything about.
