New to plaqeunil

I am on plaquenil but don't have lupus my neurologist sent me to a rheumatologist after takng a medication that gave me new onset joint pain and swelling. We're at as lose cuz all test are negative the rheumatologist thinks it's fibromyalgia the plaquenil seems to be helping. I have ringing in my ears with it. We cut back the diaper because of extreme all over itchiness. The itchiness is better but the pain is slowly coming back

I told her about the ringing it's normal side effect to plaquenil since she cut me back the Iain is returning their saying now that it's fibro myalgia

Been to several specialists because all tests are negative they are leaning to fibromyalgia also going to run tests for MS I've tried drugs for fibromyalgia but found I'm very sensitive, but I am for most drugs I have a long list of allergies. One question I have is can this out me out on disability I work as a nurse an the graveyard shift and sometimes the pain in my hands and back is unbearable
