prednisolone.

been given another months course of prednisolone. into my fourth day and not much relief this time. I had an injection when I last saw rheumy nurse last month which didn't do anything so they decided to put me back on the steroids for a month. started hydroxy a couple of weeks ago. I have felt no benefit from the steroids like I did the first time. felt like a new woman when I was first put on them, not this time. they worked in 24 hours last time but not this time. any advice please on what to do next. so achy and fatigued.

I am wanting to get off of my low does prednisone asap...while it does work fo me, the drug scares me

it's not working much for me 2nd time around. what is there to be scared about?

The long term side effects...and I had a two part surgery and my Dr won't do the second stage until I am off prednisone for 2 weeks....Breast reconstruction revision....Even if I didn't need to have surgery, the less medication I have, for me the better...can we say Pill Phobic??? heheh

Oh yes..I am too a symptom searcher...I have always been a hypochondriac..with panic/anxiety attacks associated with reading about diseases!!! Drs said I was looking for zebras in a field of horses...then 12 years ago I got breast cancer...HA! I was finally taken seriously !...Lupus was on my list when I was young that I feared...I thought I could cross it off my list as I got older...who gets Lupus at 62???!!! xx
