I have been through quite a lot over the past year but now feeling good and nearly feeling myself again.
I have been losing hair the whole time that I have been ill. I had cyclophosphamide on what docs say is a small dose, about 6 months ago expected to lose lots of hair then but didn't it has been steady hair loss over a year but may be why I'm still losing hair.
I am grateful that it was thick to start with and I am not losing clumps at a time, but hair is now getting very thin especially at hair line. Hope it stops soon as docs say my bloods are good now?!
Does any use anything that helps, or see someone about it?

I always had this hair loss problem even before, when i was not diagnosed. You just need to mention everything to your doctor. Lupus does a lot with our body. I am getting so many rashes and hair loss was always a thing.
I'm sorry you're going through this - I have also been on a long, complex journey with alopecia (hair loss).
My main advice is look up Alopecia UK - they support people in the UK living and dealing with hair loss. Alopecia UK run a closed Facebook page as well that has been an absolute godsend - full of wise words and support from other folks dealing with hair loss.
Lupus presents differently in everybody therefore, no two people with lupus will experience the same exact symptoms. It is possible for people to experience periods of remission where their lupus is controlled and they feel relatively better; reducing the signs of their symptoms.
Last year we published a blog article called ‘Coping With Hair Loss’ which contains helpful tips and information which I will be of use to you: lupusuk.org.uk/coping-with-...
