New medication?

Has anyone on here taken Colchicine for mouth sores? If so how did you fair?

I've been taking it since June 500mg twice a day but mine is for inflammation around my lungs causing pleurisy, luckily I've not had mouth sores, I do find it to be a good drug, I also take prednisone 7.5mg daily and 150mg of azathioprine, I do still have inflammation as always have pain but has improved since taking all of the above, I have MCTD. Hope it works for you.

I take colchicine for chest pain as well and like the previous reply take 500mcg twice a day all the time. I have noticed that when the dose is increased to three times a day when pain specially strong, I don't get new ulcers and existing ones go!. I also agree that it's a very good drug, just have to be careful of diorrhea!. Hope that's helpful and you get on well with it. X
