If you get no other replies - and anyway it's probably a good idea - speak to your pharmacist. Not the counter staff, the duty pharmacist. They should be able to tell you all about drug interactions (in this context, alcohol counts as a drug).
On this site medbroadcast.com/Drug/GetDr...
they say
" Tell your doctor or prescriber about all prescription, over-the-counter (non-prescription), and herbal medications you are taking. Also tell them about any supplements you take. Since caffeine, alcohol, the nicotine from cigarettes, or street drugs can affect the action of many medications, you should let your prescriber know if you use them."
so it suggests there is no blanket "Don't drink alcohol" rule.
And in the The Lupus Encyclopaedia
books.google.co.uk/books?id...
they say there are no known alcohol or food interactions but not to use echinacea which stimulates the immune system (which seems very logical since it is used to suppress your immune function).
(PS, Benlysta is the brand name for belimumab)
I don't know but just want to say your daughter is adorable on your profile picture!
