What is wrong?

Tired. Lite small and large, non-painful, bruises on arms and legs. Blood tests normal,

but am waiting for ANA. Female age 72. No medications of any kind.

Ur ana should come back real quick. It sounds to me that ur blood is too thin as u keep getting bruises. Are u on warfarin if not talk to dr about it as sounds like u should be. Most people have different settled ana numbers but quite a lot are between 2 and 2.5. Ask about what ur standing ana is and if it's higher or lower than what the result comes back tel them u want to go on warfarin. It's very dangerous especially ur age and everyone but u sit and lay down more they should be looking after you. I just worry about people and want to make sure no one has been over looked. I'm 43 I have lupus. Fibromyalgia and antiphosholipid syndrome( sticky blood) I have been in hospitals about my blood for 19 years n mostly know more than they do. What I have put on here and asked you to do will cause you no harm as I have not told you to take any thing. Keep on about the results of your ana xx chin up jacqui

Tx for the response. I do not take any meds of any kind and the bruises are lessening with a change in diet i.e., a large reduction in animal products and peanuts. Awaiting ANA tests, but know they are not definitive. Thank you.

ANA test is back. Low grade Sjorgrens. Seeing rheumatologist in a few weeks. Really lessened animal products and peanut consumption. Pain gone from neck and shoulders. Fell off diet and ate some refined food with a guest. Next day not so good. Pain coming back. Went clean again and even felt depression lifting so more exercise. Feeling good on second day. Not going off wagon ever again. Strange isn't it? What will this next meeting bring? I don't want biopsies and MRI. Thanks for this web site and doctors such as Depok Chopra and Weil.
