I hope you feel well... I have SLE too with a mild case of lupus nephritis, which causes kidney swell and leak leucocytws and erythrocytes into my urine. I sincerely hope this is not your case, it could be a simple infection, but please follow up and talk to your GP or rheumy about this. It is important not to "let it pass".
Let them know if you have any pain, fever, more tiredness, bad urine smell or a darker color... if your hands or feet get puffy, if this changes when you eat salty. Just pay attention to your body and be your best advocate. Good luck!
I'm just concerned because I feel like surely I'd know if I had a UTI and I haven't had any pain or new symptoms! I have been slightly more tired than normal and breathless but I don't think this would be connected!
I had the same thing - bladder infection, no sign of UTI and kidney function normal. Only the leukocyte count was high. Was placed on aggressive antibiotic protocol which gave me immediate release from extreme fatigue and (some) urinary discomfort. Agree with advice already posted - you are definitely your best advocate. Don't take no for an answer when you feel bad and/or the results indicate otherwise.
