Pain in boobs

Does anyone else have horrible painfu, heavy boobs.... second time this has happened now always in same area on my boob.... the dr said not to think too much of it as may be symptom of my tissue disease, but does anyone else suffer with this and how do you prevent it... it goes on for good 5 days an not a nice feeling

I have the same issue but my Dr referred me to get a mammogram just to be sure my results were some tissue inflammation but it's being watched I am praying for you

What time of the month does it happen? Has he checked your hormone profile?

Well I've got an underactive thyroid an my dosage has had to be upped on that, so not sure.... but it's no where near my period dates

Hello Leanne21bull, I DO! I did not realise this could be a symptom of connective tissue disease. I have a lot of lymphoedema with pain after previous breast cancer surgery, followed by a car accident where I was really hurt in the chest area. (ended up in coronary care with heart bruising). However this last year or so I have swollen so much, heaviness & tenderness back & front of the boob zone. I have swollen up to three to four times the size. My discomfort no longer goes away, actually I have swollen up everywhere. All over I am rounder than Mr. Blobby! It may have been more appropriate to say "Mrs Booby"! Anyway I wonder do many people with connective tissue disease get this? Thank you for bringing up this subject. Very Best Wishes, I do hope you get some ease soon. Pixiewixie
