I've had 2 brain tumours, three heart attacks, Epilepsy and now Lupus, but keeping a strong sense of humour, a wonderful, and keeping sympathetic friends gets me along

Nothing beats a good laugh. It keep me going. I had my cousins visiting in july and they have not seen me for 4yrs. I had to show them so traditional cloths i have got but they dnt fit bcos my bust area is big. The dress is padded up that normally u dnt need a bra to wear it. That didnt work for me, bra or no bra. My cousins could not stop laughing when i tried to put on breast at a time into the dress. The funny bit is, when i put one in the right postion, then i try to put the other in its postion. The first on rolls out, how do i fix that. We all laughed really hard. It was the best laugh i ve had in awhile. Xx

Glad I'm not the only one - I have about 10 correspondents in various countries, EG: Ireland,USA,New Zealand,Australia, plus about 15 in the UK who send me jokes which allows me to trade them with each other, and I get a lot of fun from them!!

I agree. At Work Capability Assessment yesterday, discussion about SLE being difficult as it ruins your work life, social life,etc Nurse asked if I got depressed. Yes, I answered. Do you self harm? she asked. It's Autoimmune, does that count I replied. She said I had a warped sense of humour 😂
