Prednisone Detox?

Hi everyone. I just finished a 9 day blast of prednisone on Friday. Today I am weak, cloudy headed, stumbling around, very sleepy. Anybody else get that? On the bright side, at least my joint and pleuritic pain are gone 🙋

I was on it for 3 months and like yourself coming off it was like falling to pieces and as weak as a kitten. However for me it did pass and slow but sure I started to improve. Hope it is the same for you .x

What strength was you on I'm 5mg for two years now

I take 2.5mg prednisone regularly but recently had bronchitis so ended up on 52.5mg for 2 weeks.

I have now weaned myself down to 4 mg I hate coming down, but at least my bronchitis is better.

I have a sort of love /hate relationship with steroids. Sometimes they are the only thing that helps, but sometimes they cause more problems than they solve.
