My lupus seems to of had quite a significant flare considering ive been fairly stable since starting the meds. But now it has sprung to life and ive had quite a bit of chest and abdominal pain. I've also noticed yellowing of the skin on my hands, does anyone else suffer with this and is it worth bringing to the attention of my doctor or rheumatologist?

Hi Dan30cr,

I would definitely mention to your doctor that you are experiencing a flare and have noticed some new symptoms. It is always prudent to have chest pain investigated. Discolouration of the skin could be a symptom of something or it could be a side-effect from medication, so it is worth getting that looked at too.

Lupus can effect the digestive system, but so can the medications we use to treat it. Definitely talk about both these issues with your Doctors.
