Just wondered if anyone can advise. My wbc count, neutrophils and lympocites are quite high on my monitoring readings, but I have got no signs of an infection?
I am on methotrexate, hydroxyl and 8mg prednisolone.
Any ideas?

I find my neutrophils and lymphocytes go up when they put my steroids up above 5mg! Bella
thanks, I know that steroids can affect the results, but have been on them for over 18 months now and recently the count has been high enough for my GP to ring me up and ask if I am feeling ok !
It is only in the last 3 or 4 months, when I have been reducing them that the readings have gone high.
High white blood cell counts can be caused by a wide range of factors including;
Allergies, drugs (such as corticosteroids or adrenaline), infections, smoking, stress and many more (read about high wbc count here - mayoclinic.org/symptoms/hig...
Apart from reducing your steroids, have you had any other changes that could possibly account for this?
My wbc high but no ingiction but faver also have
