Headache and numbness to my tongue

Hi,I've been getting sever headaches and numbness to my tongue..anyone else experience the same?

Yes. My headaches were due to bartonella (cats-also anxiety and depression) and tongue numbness was neuropathy due to infection from epstein barr virus.

I have experienced it and now numbness seems to have spread to left side of face. I am waiting for results of brain mri to see what is causing it. Dr said she suspects ms could be the cause but need test results. Hope you get answers soon as it can get scary to feel.

Me too. I manage mine with prescrip mefenamic acid 500mg the second I feel symptoms coming on

Yes, I have this with migraines. Once the migraine resolves, so is the tongue numbness.

I have severe headaches but it's my right eye that feels numb, I am now on amytriptyline and going for head ct on Saturday morning because the amytriptyline seems to have stopped working xx

Hi yes I was getting cluster headache so they reduced my anti malaria to 300 mg and headache have eased up ,my tongue goes numb and swells ,I was told that its a lupus sympton by dermy ,hope this helpx
