Sharpe pain going up my chest at my right side under my breast

Hi could anyone tell me if the experience any pains in the right side of their chest just under my boob and it is really such a sharpe pain you can barely move or breath without it sending a sharpe pain I don't know whether it's serious or not as it's happened a few times now but only lasts a couple of mins

Hi Beca x. It could be either Costochondritis or pleuritic pain? Both are common in Lupus. I have had both more than once and the pain is mega. I would recommend you get any chest pain checked by your GP as soon as you can for peace of mind and the right treatment.

You should go and have the pain checked because Lupus patients are prone to blood clots in their lungs.

Upper right quadrant pain can be serious due to all the organs tucked away there...liver, pancreas, gall bladder. See a GP without delay if the pain is as bad as you suggest.

For the past six weeks I have been experiencing the most excruciating pain on the right side of my neck down to my chest underneath my arm straight down to my fingers. It doesn't stop night or day, I have been to GPS 3 times and A&E once but it tend to be getting worst. I have never felt pain like this before. Suffering real bad.

I think you should get that chest pain checked out although when you have lupus every other complaint is seen as associated with the Lupus. Sad, sad, sad.
