I seem to be getting pimple like spots on my chest and neck. Is it possible that this is how I react to the sun?

Hi. I have experienced similar "spots" I think. They aren't like teenage puss filled spots or like blisters. I have had them on my face, chest, neck and back. In places I am slightly scarred from previous blistering, before my diagnosis. Now I know I am photo sensitive I cover myself completely - with clothing. Only my face, hands and feet are exposed and they are covered with factor 50 suncream. I also wear sunglasses and a big floppy hat if it is hot and I am outdoors for any length of time. For me, exposure is a complete no no but I think I am lucky I can go out and lead a relatively normal life. Do you think you need to cover up more? Good luck.

This COULD be a Lupus type rash. SLE will make you photosensitive and many meds make you moreso photosensitive and more prone to skin cancers, especially taking azathioprine.

It also may just be a heat rash. Lots of high factor suncream and if the rash develops, best cover up.
