Hi, I was diagnosed 2/4/15. I have back pain so bad until I have to lay back down some morning until the pain go away. All this is new to me I'm still leaning and have lots of questions. I have been reading a lot of statements it it has helped.

Document yourself. Take pictures of rashes and swelling and keep a daily journal of your symptoms and what you feel like. Write down questions to ask your Rheumy when you see him. Lupus is the disease of a 1000 faces. No two of us are alike. Severity of the disease also varies as well as the treatment and response to it. I am coming up on two years with this and am pleased to report I seem to be in remission. The treatment was intensive but made it thru.

Prayers are with you that you have an equally good result. And keep reading on this site. Its a godsend and it saved my sanity and my life.

I diagnosed with lupus 2 years ago, what I'd learned was if I can control my stress and resting enough I wouldn't be in this situation today...but, I had it now.

Learn how to control lupus, will help the symptoms not getting worsen and may going to remission soon.

Take your pills, stay out of the sun, good diet non inflamation foods and drinks, but lots of water, reduce stress and resting would help.

Documented yourself daily to tell your doctor in the next visit likes Abby says no lupies get the same symptoms.

2 years, and I still learning about my symptoms, this site is a good sort of support, share and learning.

I have shocking back pain.all in sacroiliac area.i have had MRI ect and no cause found.I did NT know it was linked.i have had injection under x ray into joint and it has really hep

I had lower back pain before I dignose Lupus, this is the 1st symptom I have before my swollen and waterly eyes and rashes on my face. My GP prescribe hay fever medi for me. Of course it didnt help.
