I have started week three of mycophenolate. I have found I have had a decreased appetite since starting on it. Has anybody experienced this?

Yes! And increased gut motility, ie going to the loo more often. Weight loss a bonus for me!

Weight loss good for me too, seven pounds off already. I put a lot on with steroids and azathioprine. However my legs are killing me, hoping mycophenolate starts working soon.

Yes, slight loss of appetite in first 6-8 months on myco & (haha) involuntarily went totally off cakes & cookies! Also had a long flare of my chronic upper GI symptoms, but that finally did settle down via lifestyle management (ie sipping fresh ginger tea all day long)

Hope things go well for you...my past year on myco has seen me feeling better than I have since the 1970s when I was in my 20s.

But in nov I began to have a run of recurring infections...can't say what part myco is playing in these infections
