hey
Hi, it is possible to have both diagnosis but it's not a definite. One important thing to remember is that everyone is affected at different levels. When I was diagnosed with lupus it was very frightening. That was 5 years ago. I am one of the lucky ones in that I must have it mildly as I manage to work full time. Tiredness is the main issue in my case but being compliant with meds is really important and also getting adequate rest. Easy to say but try not to worry too much as stress tenses the body which increases pain. Stress is also very tiring.
My advice is to wait on the results, communicate your feelings with family and friends and know that if you are diagnosed you will probably be under the care of a specialist who will help you manage your symptoms x
thank you that really helped, just hard as got so many problems already to paniced x
I think that you must be a very strong lady as you've already had a lot to deal with. Just remember that getting the diagnosis will not change anything as you are presumably already having symptoms. What you will get hopefully is support, guidance and medication. My advice to you is to try and manage the condition rather than let it control you. X

You know the sooner the better to control the symptoms. I know how you feel just as anyone else, it's hard to take it. Remember we have people here to support each others, you're not alone.
Weakly positive could mean you have both. If you test positive for ra factor you have ra. That does not mean you have lupus. But many of the tests aksu used for ra could indicate Lupus. Like high see rate , anemia and more. Lupus may take a while to diagnose
