Has anyone been diagnosed with shrinking lung syndrome? Need info on treatments etc. want to understand it more. Recently diagnosed.

No, never heard of it but I'm sure you'll find plenty of information on the internet
Sorry this is the first I have heard of it. I have been looking and there is a little on the Internet. It does seem very related to autoimmune diseases such as SLE and myositis but I'm feeling a bit foggy as usual and it was hard to digest the info. X
I have never heard of shrinking lung syndrome. I will be looking it up. Hope it is not serious.
I have shrinking lung / disappearing lung disease which is scaring of the lungs caused in my case by many chest infections
visiting GP and being told my chest was ( as clear as a bell) the damage had been done by the time I was found to have SLE it car'nt be reversed .

I was diagnosed 7 years ago with SLE etc. I have struggled a lot mentally facing up to it. I only recently had some counselling.
The counselling helped me put some things into perspective and has enabled me to turn a corner....
