Hi I had an ultrasound this morning on gall bladder, kidneys, bladder etc. A problem with a blood vessel to my liver was picked up

A few hours after the ultrasound a doctor from my practice rang for my permission for an MRI. I am taking Hydroxi to treat sle and sjrogrens. I am very worried. Is this a Lupus thing? I would appreciate any comments.xx

Hi try not to worry too much,easy said than done,i know. Do you know what your dr is going to next? What tests etc?

I had an ultra scan done two weeks ago because i haf so much abdo pain and it was affecting my eating habits. My dr put me in a dairy free diet and i went onto a gluten free diet as it helped with the pain for some reason. My dr thought i had gallstones,but the scanner woman said i hadnt. I am waiting to see another dr now. Because my bowel habits had also changed.

I have sjogren and i am showing signs of sle lupus but not diagnosed witg lupus as such! Even though drs speak out that i have it,if that made sense! It is scarey especially when you do not know exactely what us wrong with yourself. Stay positive and let us know how you get on. Sending big mega hugs.

Hi flossy i had a scan on my kidneys etc & on the scan they seen something on my liver too like a bunch of blood vessels that had grouped together? I then had CT to check this was all it was & thankfully yes thats what it was like a group of blood vessels? I haven't asked anything more about it. I have sle so i wonder too is this damage caused by lupus? Try not to worry if its same as mine which it sounds similar you will be fine

Hiya smurfette. Sounds like we have the same abdo problems. Mine started with suspected gall stones. Like you the scanner woman said everything was ok apart from something with my liver. My doctor told me that sjrogrens causes abdo problems. Thank you for your kind words. I hope you don't have lupus, but if you have its better to know. I was diagnosed about 18 months ago. Think I've had it for years. Mega hugs back to you. Xx
