Hi Steph

If you can take all your ESA Papers to your local Citizens Advice Bureau who will be able to help you and advise!. Good LuckX

Hi Steph,

Yes you can appeal but before you do take a look at the Benefits and Work website which will take you step by step through every question, how to word the answers and what it is that they are looking for.The site is run by a lawyer and he knows every loop hole there is. Make sure you put in as much info as poss about how your illness affects both emotionally & physically even though it will sound repetitive and include any supporting evidence such as your medical letters. You are entitled to ask for these.

Involve you GP in the process and ask your GP or Consultant to do a summary of your med history and enclose a more detailed letter of your own explaining how your illness effects you on a day to day / even hourly basis.

Lodge your appeal asap even if it takes them several weeks to deal with it, i believe they back date any monies awarded from the day they received your appeal pack.

I really wish you the best of luck

Hugs Cezzie x
