Azathioprine

Taking azathioprine only 50mg at the moment bit it's making me sick all the time can't eat can't keep anything down and really unwell....Help!

Speak to your consultant, nausea is to be expected, but sickness is not to be tolerated, I was taken of AZA for this reason (amongst others). All the best.

I was on azathiopine and was so ill l had to stop taking it, unable to eat terrible stomach pains, l lost 6lbs in weight in 5 days on it. My rhemuy put me on Methotrexate and l am fine on this. So contact your rhemy soon. Hope you feel better soon. Lucymay

This drug made me ill too. I would often start vomiting even on my way to work stop taking it

Thanks everyone phoned the hospital this morning they told me to stop taking them after being sick all week I've lost a stone in weight and feel dreadful appointment at hospital next week will never take them again

I was also sick everytime I took it was on only 50mg, went to my rheumy ad she said I have to try and tolerate it coz I wont to start a family soon she give me some sickness pills. So everytime I feel sick I tAke one of them ad I'm all good but sickness had reduced quite abit.
