Does methotrexate make your ears ring

Not sure if this is a silly question but i have been on methotrexate for just under a month and i keep hearing a ringing in my ears!

Has anyone else had this?

I have never been on methotrexate so cant comment from experience on that drug. But ringing ears is not a good sign and something you should mention and get checked out. I lost hearing overnight as my screen name suggests and had NEVER previously had any sort of hearing problem. I had a buzzing sound when it went but I would urge anyone else to do checks earlier if there are any concerns

Ooooh hate the ringing in the ears (tinnutis)! Not on that med (yet) but the ringing has developed as my fibro has escalated, but yeah probably good to get checked out. I would love to know about people's experience of metho as my consultant plans to start me on this next week. Any info much appreciated and good luck with the 'ringing'. Have a good day guys.
