Hello, have you actually had strokes or TIA's.. as if so you need to look at Hughes Syndrome, a percentage of people with Lupus also have it, in fact lots of people with Hughes Syndrome are on this forum and vice versa. Also some people have sero negative Hughes Syndrome, so it does not show up in a blood test. I you are having these symptoms, please come back to me so I can provide you with a data base of clinicians in the UK who understand about APS (Hughes Syndrome). Mary F x

That's interesting MaryF. I have had 3 TIA, I have Lupus SS and Fibromyalgia . I have been tested for APS but it was negative. I also find it frightening in case a stroke is round the corner. I have been give clopodigal to help it is better than aspirin. X

I am on the same medication than you, Dr SAID That I have 20% chance to get a stroke again,

Be aware also that people with such issues often have Thryoid issues, frequently mid diagnosed as Fibro. Mary F x and here a paper on Sero Negative Hughes Syndrome: ard.bmj.com/content/62/12/1... and here is the charity website, which contains a list of medical staff across the UK you understand APS. Under self help: hughes-syndrome.org/

I've had 2 full strokes, DVt, migraines and fibromyalgia. Was diagnosed with sle lupus in August and my gp said its all connected. I'm very positive about life and it helps a lot. My strokes were bad ones but nobody can tell except my immediate family. Don't give in to anything you can do anything you want it just takes longer and is harder.
