I have been having tests now nonstop for about 3 months feel like a pin cushion had that many blood tests, CT scan, ODG, Ultra sound. Just had a letter from the Consulant I am seeing at the Hospital and she has asked I go to my GP as she has put me on Prednisolone 40gm, Omeprazone 20gm, Domperidone 10gm she has contacted himto let him know she wants me to start them.I dont see her for 3 weeks. She also stated in the letter my ESR has elevated even more in the last 4 weeks. Still dont know what is wrong. I have been having lots of problems over the pass few years, its all in my profile. Just wanted to ask what are prednisolone are for.

Thanks Dee

Hi - I was put on a high dose of prednisolone 3 weeks ago & they are reducing it over several weeks. I feel great - no more pains in tissues around joints but they make you very alert & sleeping

is a problem.

Thank you for the replies,

I am very alert and sleeping less so at least I know its the tablets. I receive a phone call from the Dr at the hospital secretary to say that she wanted me on another tablet while I am on Prednisolone I am now on Actonel combo. I have noticed my skin bruises very easily and its very thin on my legs. I am now keeping a journal and writing every thing down so when I go and see the Dr I will remember to tell her, lately I seem to forget things not sure its all he medication or me.

Thank you again

Dee
