Boo for bad days, they suck. Hope meeting with occupational health goes well and some positives come out of it, likewise for rheumatology, it might be good for that if they see you with symptoms so evident. Best wishes for it, take care x
Hi scooby. Agree with flutterby here - at least the flare same time as appts with consultants. I know how you are feeling. Let's twitch in tandem!
Huge boo to bad days. 4 weeks and no light at the end of tunnel with my balance issues. Hope your insane twitching calms down. The worst thing is most people can't see the continuous twitching but heck is it frustrating... Sometimes I find just gently tensing your muscles and letting go helps. Or moving the part of the body that twitches helps alleviate the twitch in that area. Though usually it just means I twitch elsewhere! Hope appts are helpful.
soooo true, legs, stomache, arms all twitching and damed pain in leg and fingers. you are bang on with the twitch no one can see, had to resort to the diazepam and cocodamol not happy as its mucked up my choir night, its my "normality" so sat here naffed off
Morning Scooby. How did you get on? Diazepam and cocodamol sounds strong mix but I have no experience of diazepam. Just checking in to see if you are ok. I kept waking with twitching and headache last night hope you feel brighter today..
had a reasonably good day today, left arm back, ribs, leg sore and both hands hurt but been in to work, had occy health appointment which was interesting and also had a colleague shadowing me to see if I was ok to carry on working.... verdict so far so good but its under constant review, they also now need to do a risk assessment as occy health where shocked I was having patient contact even though I needed meds for the symptoms, mainly diazepam, my boss ok'd it and it helps me lots and its only as a very last resort so all is looking alright presently thanks.
Glad you had a good day despite everything. Must be hard having the pressure of work constantly reviewing you and the how you manage your job. I would find that stressful. I am lucky in a way that I work from home - no pay - run a charity website for Cancer. Also just signed up to go back to school online and get my accounts AAT 2 AAT 3 qualifications to assist with partners business accounts. Not so sure that is a good idea though with the way have been feeling! Hope the rest of the week is plain sailing..
Thank you Scooby, And the others too, this is the first time anyone has said that the twitching is part and parcel for this concision!!! So THANK YOU, each time I said anything to my Dr and the Rumy I saw on Monday, nothing. I thought it was just me being . . . .well strange lol
I hope your feeling better Scooby and that your week goes well.
