I think if it is less than 2 it is a bit of a worry. Hasn't your doctor picked it up?
He said to have it checked in a month. Hopefully it will improve
Make sure you get good food and lots of rest. Let us know if it gets better.
When I was diagnosed and getting treatment (cyclophosphamide infusions) my white bloods were extremely low, I think at one point it was lower than 0.4! My doctor kept phoning me every week after my results. However my rheumatoligst picked up on this "trend" and lowered the time to worry line for me, (if you understand what I mean ) he says I just have naturally low white bloods and they won't change. I personally feel fine most times apart from tiredness and the usual aches and pains. I'm sure your doctor will keep a close eye on it over the next few weeks. As MaggieS says rest and eat plenty. Take care.
My count was 0.6 now 0.8 my haematologist and lupus clinic have both signed me off. Yet my white count is low she said she would refer me to immunologist my white cells have been bad since 2009. I started drinking nettle tea to boost my white cells which did a little as they are 0.8 and I'm hoping their getting higher - I just wondered like you should I be concerned at all?
