First symptoms?

Hi guys,

What were your first symptoms before diagnosing? Sincer february i feel very tired and my joints hurt. But i need to mention that i have hyphotyroidism and these are symptoms too of that. I did not started the treatment with hormons because i figured out with my doc if i can get rid of that by taking natural supplements and having a therapy for my anxiety, as my tsh levels are not so high.

But being so stressed and anxious i thought maybe i do have lupus ..even though another symptoms i do not have. Time to time when i rub my skin on that point ny skin gets res but then dissapear

Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked!

Every person is different & therefore only a lupus specialist can make a diagnosis. A diagnosis, can take a long time, even years, which is why you must see a specialist because not all rheumatologists have even treated a patient with SLE. Dr Graam ughes wrote a paper for non-expert doctors, which you might find helpful. It is o the LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) website:

Is it lupus? The St Thomas' Hospital, London 'Alternative Criteria':

We also have another website called the LuPUS Message Board where you can also post questions and talk to other people. Registration is FREE and we offer free information and free online psychological support. We specialise in psychological support with our own counsellor/psychotherapist available.

By becoming a Member, you will have access to the private forums and because they are private, only Members have access and even bots and search engines are forbidden.

Please use the following to complete the Date of Birth entry: nn-nn-nnnn where n=number. Thus, if your birthday is 5th May 1968, enter: 05-05-1968. Use the “-“ separator and not the “/“.

Finally, please go to: lupus-support.org/ and Sign Up.

I look forward to talking with you more!

Sometimes we need to talk to people who understand and who are not family or friends.

With good wishes!
