Hi, just wondering if anyone who is vegan have found omega 3 vegan supplements beneficial to their Lupus. I have been reading that omega 3 helps with inflammation. I am suffering from fatigue and achy joints and wondered if these supplements may be of help? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked.

As you are a vegan, I would ask your specialist and s/he can refer you to an expert dietician who will help advise you. Omega 3 is found in oily fish, but also in some nuts and seeds, if I not mistaken, which is recommended for a healthy diet.

It is very important you are not depriving yourself of Omega 3.
