I had back surgery (discectomy) one year ago, then 6 weeks after that girls minimal change disease....it's rare I guess...AND I have what I call an unsteady gait. I think it's from the back surgery but nobody knows and it's irritating. Very life altering and I just found out I am relapsing with the MCD. Dr put me back on 60mg a day for a month, I feel like I have the flu now. Today was 1st day on it. Ugh. Not sure if I am just venting or looking for answers...answers are always welcome:) I don't know what to do...just feel like it's one thing after another

Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked.

You have been through a great deal. I am assuming you mean that your doctor has put you on 60mgs pd of corticosteroids to try and control the inflammation?

It doesn't matter if you are "venting" and/or want answers. You came to the right place.

We also have another website called the LuPUS Message Board where you can also post questions and talk to other people. Registration is FREE and we offer free information and free online psychological support. We specialise in psychological support with our own counsellor/psychotherapist available.

By becoming a Member, you will have access to the private forums and because they are private, only Members have access and even bots and search engines are forbidden.

When you register, please use the following format for entering your date of birth: nn-nn-nnnn where n=number. Please use the "-" separator and not "/".

I look forward to talking with you more!

Sometimes we need to talk to people who understand and who are not family or friends.

With good wishes!
