Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked.
I am happy you are symptom free and may be in "remission." I do not understand whether your doctor told you to stop your medication or whether this was your choice. No one should suddenly stop their medication. I am saying this because there will be many people reading this article and while this seems OK for you, I doubt whether this would be appropriate for other people. In other words, I am not telling you what to do!
Blood tests are not definitive. Many people have "normal" blood tests but feel ill.
I think you should still be seeing your doctor.
As your picture above shows, there are psychological issues with having lupus. Are you still feeling the same?
We also have another website called the LuPUS Message Board where you can also post questions and talk to other people. Registration is FREE and we offer free information and free online psychological support. We specialise in psychological support with our own counsellor/psychotherapist available.
By becoming a Member, you will have access to the private forums and because they are private, only Members have access and even bots and search engines are forbidden.
When you register, please use the following format for entering your date of birth: nn-nn-nnnn where n=number. Please use the "-" separator and not "/".
Sometimes we need to talk to people who understand and who are not family or friends.
With good wishes!

I think you really need to tell your doctor immediately! It's so important not to suddenly stop taking your meds because it is dangerous for your body!! You say that your doctor said that based on your blood test that you did not have lupus and then you say she said your lupus was controlled by your meds. If it's controlled...then you still have Lupus! Blood test alone can not diagnose Lupus. What your doing is not the best thing. Lupus is so unpredictable!! Without your meds it damages your organs in your body. It can take months for the meds to get it under control. When your feeling good is the worst time to stop your meds!! I feel in my own opinion that you should make an appointment with your doctor and tell her what you have all stopped taking and for how long and she will want to order more blood test. In the mean time take good care of yourself and stay away from large crowds of people and especially anyone who is sick. Please make a doctors appointment! It's so important! Lupus may go into remission but it does not just go away!! It is a very unpredictable illness!! Take care!
