Feeling flu like for past month

Wondering if this has or is happening to anyone else,it.feels like I have the flu for past.month, starts in morning I take my tramedol after hour feel better, end up taking ibuprofen and sometimes exceeding 3 hours.later and by 130 I'm feeling like I have the flu again.I'm getting so annoyed it's a constant every day thing lately, xan barely function at work sometimes, and the chemotherapy treatment doesn't seem like it's doing much but they say it is since it's helping to protect my organs

If by the flu you mean Body aches every where and feeling tired and exhausted that is how I have been since this first started. I have other symptoms like sores in my mouth and the butterfly rash when I am in a flare up but feeling like I am fighting a flu or virus every day is what I experience.

Welcome to LUpus Patients Understanding & Support (LUPUS) at HealthUnlocked.

What you are describing is a "classic" symptom reported by many of us with lupus. What "chemotherapy" are you receiving? You must be careful and not exceed any dose without explicit instructions from your doctor.

It is possible you are having a flare and therefore you should contact either your GP and/or your lupus specialist. You may need to have blood tests to see whether there have been any changes, but sometimes blood tests do not show anything and the doctor will have to go on an examination and what you report.

Don't suffer in silence. Call your doctor!

We also have another website called the LuPUS Message Board where you can also post questions and talk to other people. Registration is FREE and we offer free information and free online psychological support. We specialise in psychological support with our own counsellor/psychotherapist available.

By becoming a Member, you will have access to the private forums and because they are private, only Members have access and even bots and search engines are forbidden.
