Excellent event in Glasgow's Kelvin Grove Art Gallery yesterday. Great Salvation Army Band, great Choir and great speakers. Well done Eric! Good to let let everyone hear about the LC stats and the wonderful way the funds are allocated!!

Good to see Clare and Matt too.

The turnout was much bigger than last year - no snow - and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Looking forward to ever bigger event next year. :)

Hi Bill,

Thanks for your comments,I entirely agree with you,Light up a Star was a most enjoyable occassion, the choir and the Salvation Army were absolutely brilliant.I really enjoyed the opertunity I was given to make a presentation, though I got to say as a teacher,my counting down from three to one was really abysmal,I should have put in more practice for that difficult one.I will post in the reading you asked for a copy of here, when I remember how to copy and paste. My very Best Wishes for all our readers here here for the festive season and may 2012 be a vintage year for everyone.

Hi Bill,

I hope this works, its the reading you requested a copy of,

I am with you Always

I am with you in the spring time of your life, when joy is new,

And when the summer brings the fullness of your faith, I am there with you

I am with you in the autumn of your years, to turn to gold every memory of your yesterdays, to banish winters cold

I am with you in the sunshine when your world glows warm and bright

I am with you when life’s shadows bring long hours of endless night

I am with you every moment every hour of every day

Go in peace upon life’s journey

For I am with you all the way.

Hi Eric.

Thanks! It's arrived fine. Your IT skills are obviously improving!! I am passing this on to the sister of one of those we remembered on Sunday. I know she'll appreciate it.
