What is the very best way to find out about every type of treatment available ? My husband has been offered chemotherapy again - but he's not strong enough yet and it wiped him out the first time. He now has one lung and one kidney through surgery to remove tumours. How can I find out about other treatment that may be available?

Thanks Emma.
Aske your oncologist if your husband can be tested for one of the genetic mutations (if he hasn't already been tested) there are serveral different ones. EGFR is the most common, but there is ALK, ROS1. This would only apply if your husband has Non small cell lung cancer though. If he is positive for one of the mutations chemotherapy can be given in tablet from and doesn't have all of the nasty side effects of traditional chemo.
Thanks Lynba - Even a year down the line of dealing with this, I wouldnt have known to ask that.
