Im 57 and was diagnosed with inoperable non small cell lung cancer in October 2022. Since then Ive adopted a dairy, gluten & sugar free diet , organic only & prinipally vegan. I take millions of supplements a day plus Chinese traditional Medicine. I’ve had 3 rounds of chemo, then combined radio (x25) and chemo (x5) . This was followed up with durvalumab ( discontinued after 5 sessions due to pneumonitis, and have been in corticoids ever since. My breathing & coughing has become progressively worse since, along with developing facial neuralgia. Eventually a pet tac and broncoscopy in January showed I have a new 5cm inoperable tumour , with no mutations, so. no targeted therapy.. As this is obstructing my trachea, I am undergoing more chemo to try & reduce it as no other treatment available,
Still no mets yet, but other than waiting for death, does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Hi sorry to hear your news but don't lose hope.Have you asked or looked into trials? I'm sure there is a link on this sight that a lady shared, sorry I have forgot her name.
I am sorry to hear that you were not able to tolerate durvalumab, generally the treatment for steroids but symptoms can be difficult to treat.
A previous post here by a member N1ria has developed a website to help people identify clinical trials they may be eligible to enroll in, I have added the link to the site below
trials.clinicalnet.com/login
