Hello Wallbrook1916
I would advise that you contact your CNS about this, there are many variables that need to be looked at and every case is considered on an individual basis, the decision to go ahead or postpone will be made by your team.
Covid numbers seem to be on the rise again, it might be a good idea to check with a lateral flow test.
If you would like to discuss anything you can call us on our free phone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200 Monday to Thursday 0900-1700 and Friday 0900-1600, alternatively you can email ask the nurse at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org
Kind regards
The Roy Castle Support Team
Hi. Checking with your CNS is always worthwhile to set your mind at rest. For what it’s worth I’ve been on Atezolizumab for two and a half years and having a cold has never come up as a contra -indication for treatment.
